Amy and Luis

15 years ago, Amy and I met. 1,000's of sleepovers (that usually ended in me going home after she fell asleep), tons of arguments. Some over sneakers, over who said what and one wrestling match in my front yard over who was going to get to marry Junior, our next door neighbor! Hahahaha!

In two weeks she's marrying her soul mate, Luis. They are so in love! They met in November. Doesn't seem like long but when you know, you know :) Amy has a beautiful son, Kalil who adores Luis. I met Luis for the first time today and instead of shaking his hand, I gave him a huge hug. How can I not hug the guy marrying my best friend? He is so sweet and I know he will take very good care of my Amy.

Shooting these guys was a breeze. They are very lovey-dovey so their pictures came out so natural! Take a look!

Jeremy and Diane!

WOW! This wedding was amazing! By far the most unique ceremony I have ever attended and ever photographed. In lieu of a unity candle the exchanged mala beads. The were married at the planetarium under the stars. It was gorgeous!

Aside from the beautiful ceremony, Jeremy and Diane and their kids really made me feel comfortable and really made me feel like part of their family. The bride and groom really have a special bond and their love is just glowing. Being in the same room as them, you can truly feel their love for one another and for their family. I loved that I was apart of their special day. It was amazing. I left feeling on top of the world!

Thank you Diane and Jeremy for letting me be there today :) and please thank your kids for me! They were awesome to me!!

I'm so excited! Tomorrow is my first ever (as far as my own business goes) newborn shoot! Baby Jon is sooo cute and I'm thrilled to be taking his pictures :) I went to the store and got some really cute stuff. A blanket, 2 baskets and a scarf big enough to wrap the babe in. Some very good friends of mine are nice enough to lend me their equipment until I can afford my own. (Thanks Jaime and Christine!)

Then on Sunday I'm meeting with Diane and her fiance to talk about their wedding. She told me a little about it yesterday-the ceremony takes place inside the planetarium! Their ceremony is also based on astrology, zen and Buddhism! This is right up my alley. It's going to be truly unique, to say the very least!

Stay tuned to see a sneak peek of Baby Jon tomorrow!!

Hi everyone!

Wow I have a lot on my mind! I'm so excited to be starting my own business but also scared, nervous and anxious! The worst part about all of this is the waiting! Waiting to book clients, waiting to build a bigger portfolio, waiting to get my name out there. Once I wrap my head around an idea, I have to do it then and I need it done now, haha! There is so much to do and I really couldn't be more excited!!
